The Rock Church in San Diego, California
For this 28,000-square-foot, 3,500-seat contemporary worship center, AVDB Group designed a state-of-the-art, all-digital AES/EBU 96 kHz/24-bit performance-based audio system. Included was a dual-surface Midas XL-8 digital audio control and distribution system at the Front of House (FOH) and Monitor (Mon) locations. The audio input signals are derived from a total of more than 150 microphone and tie-line inputs located in the main sanctuary performance platform, catwalk, mixing locations, the back-of-house and ancillary spaces (including the chapel, lobby and bookstore). AVDB Group installed the main audio loudspeaker system consisting of a discrete Left/Center/Right L-Acoustic audio system, with dedicated side, front, above-balcony and below-balcony fills. Using Soundvision and EASE to design the audio systems, we installed 16 L-Acoustic Kudo, eight ARC and eight dV-DOSC loudspeakers as the main audio sources, processed with XTA digital signal processors and powered with Crown I-Tech amplifiers. On the far-balcony delays, we installed two pairs of dV-DOSC loudspeakers.
Christ’s Church of the Valley in Peoria, Arizona
For the newly constructed youth and children’s facilities at Christ’s Church of the Valley, AVDB Group installed a turnkey audio, video and lighting system. In collaboration with Sound Technology Consultants based in El Cajon, California, we installed L-Acoustic and Renkus-Heinz audio systems, Christie and Sanyo video projection systems, and Stewart Filmscreen video screens. For lighting, we helped install ETC Sensor digital dimmer packs and fixtures with Jands Vista S3 controllers.
SGI-USA, San Francisco, CA
AVDB is contracted to upgrade the SGI-USA Cultural Center in San Francisco with a new 1 Chip DLP Sanyo PDG-DHT8000L video projector and Extron/Kramer processing. The audio system consists of Electro-voice loudspeakers processed with Biamp. A new Yamaha console will be installed along with a Vadio HD camera for image magnification purposes.
Pureheart Christian Fellowship, Glendale, AZ
We were contracted in 2008 to Design-Build this state-of-the-art Audio Video Systems for Pureheart new Youth Building. The core audio system is L-Acoustic DV-Dosc with DV-Subs and SB28 sub-woofers. The video system consists of Panasonic HXP300 cameras, Sanyo video projectors and Stewart Video Screens. Completion is set for October 2010St. Therese at Carmel, San Diego, CA
As a design-build project AVDB will be installing Renkus Heinz Iconyx and I-Live systems in the new Parish Hall and Day Chapel. Processing is by Biamp and video projection is by Sanyo/Draper. The first use is scheduled for October 2010.Testimonials
